Palisade Welded Fence is a new concept of security fencing. Palisade is a style of fencing, which is now popular in steel around many industrial sites. It is more secure than many other fencing systems so wherever security is priority palisade is used. Our company provide aesthetically pleasing high security permanent fencing for industrial and residential premises. Meantime traditional 'D' section pales and 'W' section pales is the main type of palisade welded fence.

'D' section refers to the shape of the vertical pale profile, which is best suited to sites requiring a boundary with forbidding appearance and general damage resistance. Anti-vandal bolts are recommended in place of the standard rivets for pale fixing when attacks to the fence may be expected. A range of head styles is available with triple pointed and splayed being by far the most popular at greater heights.

'W' section high security fencing is another style of palisade. This type of fencing is an extremely effective first line of defense against the more aggressive intruder. Suitable for high security use. W section palisade is stronger and more durable than D section and is a lot more effective as high security fencing.

Materials: superior quality mild steel

Fixing of panels:

The palisade fence panels come in standard 3m sections and are fixed to the uprights/posts by welding them in place. This ensures a much more robust design and minimizes the possibility of intrusion.

Benefits:

Component form palisade fencing is what it says, a palisade fence compiling of quite a number of component parts which bolt together like a mechano set. All too often the weakest link ends up being the bolts. The panel consists of 2 Nr horizontal rails and 17 Nr vertical pales connected together with 34 Nr bolted connections, giving intruders ample opportunity to vandalize and gain access.

With welded palisade fencing, the vertical pales are welded to the horizontal rails in the factory prior to the galvanising process, thus eliminating the 34 Nr potential weak spots, offering an end product with a higher degree of security over the component form. Should someone want to gain access, they have to mechanically remove the pale with some form of cutting equipment as opposed to tampering with a bolt.

Welded palisade also provides a solution to quickly secure your site. With no need for on site assembly of the panel, the erection squads can install the fence quicker than if it were the traditional component form.
